From Blue Traveler Game

Hello! I wanted to share a GREAT resource with incredible educational games. I added several to the JUST FOR KIDS page on my website but wanted you to have more information.

Dear Educators,

The Project WET Foundation is excited to announce a FREE new educational website for teachers and students! DiscoverWater.org is home to Discover Water: The Role of Water in Our Lives, a fun resource about water and water related topics including: water on Earth, the water cycle, ocean, fresh water, watersheds, water conservation and protection, direct and indirect water use and water and health. Kids love the interactive games and activities and educators love the Educator Resources-printable science notebooking pages, classroom activities, assessments, standard correlations and more!

from the website: “The DiscoverWater.org is a self-directed educational resource comprised of eight units about different water topics—ranging from the global to the personal perspective—which together reflect many of the complex and important roles of water in so many aspects of our lives. It is designed for use primarily by students ages 7-12 and educators for this age group, both in- and outside the classroom.”

Please check out DiscoverWater.org. If you like it, share it with students and colleagues.
